CanSecWest 2026 — LLM Safety and Information Security
September 30 – October 1 · Pinnacle Harbourside, Vancouver, Canada

CanSecWest returns for its 26th year: Canada's longest-running applied security conference, two days on the Vancouver harbourfront where the researchers doing the work present it themselves.

This year's program centers on LLM safety and information security alongside CanSecWest's core ground: vulnerability research, hardware and firmware security, exploitation techniques, reverse engineering, and defensive engineering. Keynotes from Bruce Schneier and Katie Moussouris.

The format that has defined CanSecWest since 2000: single track. No competing sessions, no scheduling conflicts — every attendee sees every talk, and the hallway conversation happens because everyone just watched the same material.

In-person registration includes both conference days, catered lunches and refreshment breaks, and the evening reception. In-person pricing increases monthly until the event — the current rate is shown below; lock it in early.
Online registration ($400 flat) provides live stream access to both days, with access details emailed the week of the event.

Training: CanSecWest DOJO courses run September 26–29 at the same venue — hands-on, small-cohort courses in reverse engineering, hardware attacks, TEE exploitation, Windows internals, and AI-driven security tooling. Add a DOJO seat to this order; full syllabi at secwest.net/csw26-dojos.

Hotel: a special CSW26 rate is available at the venue — details at secwest.net and in your confirmation email.

All prices CAD; 5% GST added at checkout and itemized on your invoice. Questions: info@secwest.net.
