AI for defense. Show your work.

realigned.online is an online-only CanSecWest extension focused on practical AI for defense: technical talks, working methods, and time to ask the second question. Track A’s all-day virtual Zoom social room and presentation tracks B, C and D bring researchers and practitioners together to show what holds up, explain what fails, and compare notes.

November 10, 2026 — Pacific Time: Seattle / US West Coast (PST, UTC−8)

  • 8:00 a.m. — Program starts
  • 10:30–10:45 a.m. — Shared keynote: Dragos Ruiu. Presentation tracks B, C and D pause; no competing presentations. Everyone is invited. Track A’s virtual social room remains available.
  • 6:00 p.m. — Main program finishes
  • 6:00–8:00 p.m. — Overflow sessions and discussions as needed; event closes at 8:00 p.m.

Vancouver: 9 a.m.–7 p.m. main program, with overflow until 9 p.m. Keynote: 11:30–11:45 a.m.

Program preview

Track A — All-day virtual social mingling: open 08:00–20:00 Pacific Time (Seattle/PST), 09:00–21:00 Vancouver, including the keynote, lunch and overflow. Drop in throughout the event; everyone is invited to the shared keynote.

  • Track D — Defensive operations and human judgment — incident response, AI-native threats, governance and practical blue-team skills.

The program includes a two-hour live tabletop crisis simulation led by Ron Dilley using his software, provisionally scheduled for 14:30–16:30 Pacific Time (Seattle/PST), 15:30–17:30 Vancouver. Participant requirements will be announced.

Accepted speakers include Anna Bertiger, Randy Flood, Dmitriy Beryoza, D Niu, Sebastien Doucet, Rajesh Khanna Bolloju, Monish Alur Gowdru, Aleksander Kryukov, Ahmed Shah, Yashvardhan Rathi, Ziad Salah, Richard Thieme, Ryan MacArthur, Mehul Revankar, Michael Kantor, Christopher Hale, Nikitha Nair, Ron Dilley and Rich Lindberg.

Provisional: Ravindra Annam — ConfusedPilot: Breaking Delegated Authority Across AI Agents and Tools. November 10 availability is awaiting reconfirmation.

Additional sessions and discussions are being arranged within the 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. main program, with overflow until 8:00 p.m. Individual speaker times and workshop details are provisional while availability is finalized.
